Please remove all artificial flowers and wreaths from gravesides by April 1 before they are cleared away with the Cemetery spring clean up. St. George's Cemetery has been a vital part of St. George's Church since the 1840's. There are almost 3000 people buried in the 2.9 acres located just outside the front doors of the church. The vast majority of these individuals were part of this local parish and most of these contributed their time, talents and money as active members of this church. Many of our current members can trace their family history by pointing to markers in St. George's Cemetery! Please help us know more about those who are buried in our cemetery. We need up-to-date contact information for the current owners of the plots. We would also appreciate other information relevent to the cemetery records (e.g. whether particular plots will have no further burials, noteworthy accomplishments or family trees of the deceased, image files, etc.).
